All of our spec sheets are located under the Literature link found at the top of every page. Please select your appropriate market and scroll down to the heading 'Spec Sheets'. From there you can select the spec sheet you wish to download. All spec sheets are listed in alphabetical order.

4.  What is the difference between the finishes?
Brite - single layer clear chromate zinc plating process with Metrolac (an organic lacquer top coat). An economical alternative to nickel chrome plating with the look of chrome from an environmentally friendly process. Intended for dry storage applications.

Chrome – A durable multi-layer coating consisting of bright nickel and chromium with a Metrolac top coat. Intended for primarily dry storage applications.

MetroSeal 3 – a multi-layer corrosion resistant finish consisting of a proprietery cross linked thermoset epoxy enhanced with Microban antimicrobial protection over a zinc chromate coating. Metroseal 3 with Microban provides protection from bacteria, mold, mildew, and fungi build-up that may cause odor, stains, and product degradation, while displaying excellent abrasion, gouge, and chemical resistance properties. Metroseal 3 is intended for use in damp locations and has a 12-year limited warranty against rust formation

Stainless Steel – Electropolished Type 304 (18-8) stainless steel – the ultimate in corrosion resistance – ideal for damp locations as well as cart washing applications. Stainless steel is unsurpassed for abrasion, gouge, temperature, and corrosion resistance requirements.

5.  What is the weight capacity of your shelving?
Super Erecta (open wire style), Super Adjustable (open wire style), Metro Max (open grid and solid) and Metro Max Q (open grid and solid) have identical shelf load capacities. All shelves up to and including 48” long are load rated at 800lbs per shelf of evenly distributed static load. Shelves 54”, 60” and 72” long are load rated at 600lbs. per shelf of evenly distributed static load. A stationary free standing shelving unit of the above shelves should not exceed 2000lbs. And a mobile shelving unit of the above shelves should not exceed 800lbs.
